So, I've been chubby for a long time. Then COVID came around - and some other stressors. I'm a bit of a stress eater - which might be an understatement. So, when they started talking about the COVID 15 pounds - I got a little dyslexic and thought they said COVID 51 - ack!
So, I'm a fair bit chubbier than normal, and it's getting in the way. The flight of stairs to my office is becoming more like climbing Mt Hood than a flight of stairs. I live on a small farm, and my stamina for the work required there is pretty weak. Also, it's frustrating my wife - which creates more stressors and frustration.
I'm not very good at listening to her. On the other hand, she is amazing at finding what's wrong in a situation - and verbalizing it and making suggestions and making sure you act on a suggestion or badgering until either you snap at her - where she'll go hide for a couple days - or she just gives in - and hides for a couple hours.
